European tour of the play “Promises, Promises…”

In June 2026, European audiences will have the opportunity to see the comedy play “Promises, Promises…” — a ярка, expressive and provocative theatrical story combining elements of farce, grotesque, and buffoonery.

At the heart of the play is the story of a married couple who decide to experiment with an open relationship. The husband and wife make a kind of “agreement,” but the situation quickly spirals out of control when the wife takes advantage of it and starts an affair. This leads to a loud scandal, painful confessions, and attempts to understand the real reasons behind their choices.

The production uses the “theatre within a theatre” technique — the characters literally act out their family life in front of the audience, trying to rediscover the meaning of love, happiness, and family.

Passion, temptation, infidelity, the complexity of marriage, and the desire to preserve a relationship through unconventional decisions keep the audience constantly engaged — between tension and laughter.
